India is a country where power generation is satisfying the needs of power to
industry and agricultural business. Taking a view from future it will not be
wrong to say that the field of Electrical Engg, will surely become one of the
first choice of engineering aspirants.

Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that deals with the study and
application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. Electrical
engineering has been playing a vital role in producing scientists and
technologists of the highest calibre. Electricity has been a subject of
scientific interest since at least the early 17th century. Since then this field
has developed so much that now it has been considered as a field of great
potential. Power generation and Power transmission has given new dimensions to
the field of Electrical Engg. In future this field of technology is going to
spear head the coming era of nuclear energy. Being one of the oldest and premier
branches of engineering, Electrical Engineering has well established links with
other major branches also like Mechatronic (fusion of electrical and
mechanical), Power electronics (fusion of electrical and electronics) etc
Taking this in account we at FCET are providing students with latest instrument
and apparatus in laboratories and workshops, so that they can emerge as future
scientists and engineers in the near future.
