Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers four year B.Tech. program
in Computer Science and Engineering based on semester system. The department
aims to imparts world class training and research and provides state of the art
computing facilities to the students. It also targets to promote activities of
industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and taking
part in sponsored research projects and consultancy services. The faculty is
highly qualified, extremely diligent, dedicated and highly motivated,
maintaining high standards in imparting quality education in the field of
Computer Science and Engineering. |

Recent advancements in the field of Computer and Information Technology have
made this world a global village, with continuous thrust on avenues such as
Information Super Highway, Software Development, Problem solving techniques and
a host of other technologies. The department’s objective is to provide
environment and opportunities for students’ nurturing into multifaceted
individuals through value-added industry oriented programmes. Workshops and
programmes shall be organized on Personality Development and Entrepreneurship to
foster qualities of leadership and entrepreneurship.

With this goal in mind the Department of Computer Sciences has excellent
computing facilities which includes 40 Computers in Computer Centre and 40
Computers in Internet Lab, Wi Fi Labs with P. IV computer Systems, Scanners,
Servers and multimedia kits.
