This department is the foundation of all engineering streams. When the
foundations are strong, success is sure. The department has dedicated and
experienced faculty who help the students in adapting to the changes, they face
during their first year of college.
The Department of Applied Sciences strives to strengthen the basics in Maths,
Physics, Chemistry & English without which no engineer can really hold his
ground. The department has dedicated and experienced faculty to guide the
students to adjust to the changes they face during the first year of college. It
has well equipped laboratories to impart practical training to students in the
fields of Applied Physics & Applied Chemistry.
Consultancy and Testing Facilities exist in these sections and also in Applied
Maths. In this age of Communication, no engineer can hope for bright and
happening career without good communication skills. The English Language
Laboratory will gear up the students for Group discussion, cracking interviews,
making presentations so that they can face any situation or join any field
brimming with confidence.
